Story

Darin Mich’l has been a licensed Broker/Realtor for over 30 years. He has represented literally 1000’s of people to Successful closings as both Buyer and Sellers agent. Darin was born in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1966. As a young man he was very active in all forms of sports and academics. Darin attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he studied Accounting & Business. Darin took a break for a semester to re-evaluate his major. During this short break he utilized satisfied his quest for knowledge by attending Real Estate school. Darin passed his Broker exam and realized he loved it. He studied all aspects of Real estate from land assembly and development, commercial lending to residential investor strategies. He became very active in Property investing, forming and running investment partnerships for all types of Real Property. Darin was a well respected & seasoned realtor by the time the great real estate boom happened and made many people a-lot of money with amazing investments. In 2007 Darin and his wife Kjirstin decided it was time to move and they scoured the western United States looking for a perfect spot to relocate. Darin and his wife have travelled to over 30 + countries and seen all but 5 states. They both enjoy all outdoor activities from hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, water sports of all kinds. After much traveling, research and many miles and hotels. They found the Amazing safe, quiet, clean, little known spot in Northern Utah called the Ogden Valley. The Ogden Valley is comprised of 3 Small towns (Huntsville, Eden, Liberty) This lightly developed high mountain valley has a pristine sandy beach lake in the middle of it and is surrounded by deep green beautiful mountains. The Ogden Valley also has 3 Ski Resorts within 15 minutes one in the center and two on opposite sides of the valley. This well-kept real estate and lifestyle secret is so very beautiful it is like a Swiss valley in so many ways. A truly well-kept secret. The Valley is 15 minute drive to a Ogden and only 50 minute’s drive to Salt Lake International Airport and Salt Lake City. Darin and his wife moved to this amazing Valley and opened a small boutique Real Estate company called PPR. This was at the beginning of the great recession and Real Estate sell off. During this difficult time PPR not only survived but grew to be the largest company in the area during the recession and did very well. Darin knew not a soul when he moved to the region but became the #1 sales agent’s in the area after a few years, and continues to be in the top percentage of his field. Upon hearing of and researching all the amazing aspects of Engel & Volker’s Darin and his partner approached E&V about opening a company in the region. They were successful in partnering and procuring an office in the lovely Ogden Valley in Eden, Utah. This will allow Darin to continue to fulfill his dream of selling his friends and clients investments or finding people the perfect property. Whether it be for investment or personal Residence, Darin is willing to work hard for as long as it takes to make sure You are completely happy.
